Passport request within a day - Online Visitors Visa?

My mother has applied online and she got passport request within a day. Email does say that decision has been made. Does it mean visa is approved? I didn't expect to get passport request in a day at all. Looks like online application is way faster than paper application.

India. But she applied online. I am not sure if she got visa because email I got only says decision has been made on your application and they requested passport.

i've heard in almost all cases that if they request passport - you're approved. Once you send it and they go to send it back to you, you should have a change in status saying closed and approved.

Yes, most likely her visa is aproved.

I got refused in 1 day, so it can happen to receive such a fast answer.

yeah last time my husband was refused he applied feb 7 and feb 11th it was rejected and 2 of those days were weekends and i'm assuming they don't work those days. the recent one we sent was on september 11th and still waiting for an update of some sort
