Passport Request Received..what are the options

Dear Friends

My company had applied for ICT to move me to Toronto , through New Delhi embassy online.

Have received a mail from my company lawyer that CIC has asked for our passport.
I am now in UAE and its not easy to get two weeks leave to go to India for passport stamping.

Is there any option available. My wife is in India now, can she submit both our passports in person to VFS Mumbai?

Is it safe to courier my passport to her while I continue to work in UAE?

I think you can't able to courier your passport. If you do that, probably that will be ceased In India or either in UAE. And it is very risky. I suggest you to come India to apply in Person. Would be the very good Manner.

1st ask your attorney whether you can submit it to the Mumbai vfs centre .
if they agree go ahead and courier it to your wife and she can submit it.
To my knowledge my company immigration expert told there is not need
for personnel appearance incase of stamping..

Again check with your attorney.
