Very happy to say that I received a passport request letter for my minor son (18 months old) for his PR application under family class sponsorship. He is the only applicant, as both my wife and I already have PR.
The visa office is in New Delhi, India. The VFS visa application centre is in Mumbai, which is closest.
The problems are:
1. Because my son is a minor, biometrics are not required for him. IRCC has requested only to state his eye colour and height in a letter.
2. The email from IRCC doesn't have a pdf attachment. All information and instructions are in the email body itself.
We realize that we need to book an appointment with the VAC in Mumbai to submit the necessary documents. However, the web form for appointment booking does not work without the biometrics request letter. Also, we tried printing the email into a pdf and uploading that, but the webform will not accept it either.
Can anyone help what to do in this situation?
