Hi all,
I just got the passport request letter from NewYork immigration office.
In the letter is says "return this letter with all of the documents listed above..." which includes RPRF however it says exactly: "RPRF must be paid at our office" So, If I mail the RPRF in money order form then how come I pay it *at* the office? I am totally confused.
Please let me know if you have any experience which enable me clarify this.

Hi,

"RRPF paid at our office" means that you have to send money order to that visa office. It doesn't mean that u have to go there to pay the fees. I hope u understand my point. Just made a money order payable to 'Reciever General of Canada' if paying in Canadian funds or "Canadian Cosulate General' if paying in US funds and send it to the visa office which asked for passports...

Hope this helps...

It worked! I just sent a money order from canada post along with the passport, and as of today I got a mail from canada newyork consulate and it looks like I got the permanent residency.
