We are inland applicants and received the passport request for COPR but my wife has travel plans later this month. Judging by the timelines on the forum if we send her passport to Ottawa it is unlikely we will receive them before month end. Does anyone know if it is possible for her to send the passport to visa office in India while I send my passport to Ottawa? I have read on the forum where people have suggested this could be possible but didn't come across a definite answer. Your help will be deeply appreciated.
I am planning to write to them and will also try to contact the call centre. Will update the forum with what I learn. Worst case will postpone the travel.
P.S. Did not expect things to be processed so fast
. We got Passport request within three working days of submitting medical results, just one day after our medical was passed on the online account.
