Passport renewal and the MBA course duration...PROBLEM??

Hi,

I have renewed my passport today, however i have the following concerns:-

- my passport was issued on december 7, 2000 and the current booklet (passport) is only to be used for 10 years ( to be renewed every 2 years).

this means my current booklet will not be usable after december 7th 2010. today in the consulate they have renewed it till december 7th 2010. after that date i will have to apply for the new passport (biometric).

my studies in canada is from 23/september/2009 till 28/february/2011 . my concern is, would this make any problem during the student permit application process ?

i am not sure about this, but the sudanese consulate told me to apply for the new passport after the december 7th 2010.

please advice..

Hi Ahmed,

It wont be an issue. You can apply for the new passport through the consulate when you need it i.e. 2010 december . which business school are you going for ur MBA?
