Passport receipt acknowledgement & return time

Hello!

Following PPR, I mailed my passport to Ottawa (from US) and the tracking info shows that it was delivered on Friday 06/14. I haven't received any official acknowledgement from CIC. How long does that take? Just want to make sure my passport doesn't get lost/misplaced. Also, any idea on how long they take to return the passport?

You won't receive an acknowledgement. If the tracking shows it was delivered then it was delivered.
Could take anywhere from a few weeks to a month to get it back.
