Passport Question

Hi

I want to create new express entry profile. My score is 453 and I think I will get invitation quickly.

Now problem is my passport is expiring soon, June 30 2018. So I am confused if I should renew passport and create profile using new passport or use the old one?

My IELTS has the old passport, so If I use new passport would that result still be valid? (I think it is valid but Just to confirm)

Also I want to do medical prior to invitation, so if I use old passport for medical but use new passport for profile would that cause any problem ? I don't remember if medical has any connection with passport number.

Any answer would be appreciated thanks.

Best bet would be to go ahead with Passport Renewal. As far as I know, your IELTS being tagged to your old Passport will not create any road-blocks in the long run. Still if it worries you, a brief note on the LOE will clear away any discrepancies, if any. Taking the New Passport for your Meds would be better than taking your old one, since you are anyway opting on Renewing your Passport.

Did your CRS fall from 483?? Any specific reason for the same. Good luck.

Yea CRS went down bcoz of foreign experience check my other thread for details.

yes already applied for passport renewal, I just wanted to complete things simultaneously if possible but I guess I will be little patient and do things in one by one

No need to worry about this. My application contained the same instance and it was approved. The IELTS exam referred to the old passport. I applied for the passport renewal afterwards because I wanted to ensure that the passport was valid for the entire duration of the PR application.
