Passport question: What is considered urgent pick-up, by end of next business day?

Hi there,

Has anyone applied for a passport after receiving the e-certificate in an urgent matter? I would assume that personal traveling purposes–holidays–would not be accepted as urgent.

Thoughts? Experiences?

Canada doesn't care about the purpose of your flight. Both going to Cancun and the death of a relative back home are treated equally.
If you have a flight coming soon, you can and should apply for an urgent or express passport.

Just carry a travel itinerary like air ticket e.g. (firm booking not required) or hotel booking say 3-4 days from your passport submission
They will accept it as urgency
