My sister and I arrived in Oct 16th thru Vancouver. It was our first time in here. We are both from the Philippines visiting my brother and his family. We were directed to use the kiosk. Filled out declaration form online have our pictures taken. We stated in the number of days to stay is 34 days. We handed over our passport to the immigrarion officer and we were pointed out to exit. No questions ask. We did not get a stamp too.
Now, we would like to extend our stay at least until the christmas and new years day are over. Do we need to contact Vancouver Immigration for assistance?
While checking on this website, I have read that we can stay for 6months max. Can we just disregard the 34days we stated in the declaration? Will this affect our future visit in Canada if we disregard it?
