Hi,

Will be renewing my about to expire passport next week. I have a valid TRV in my maiden name valid until 2018. Would it be better to leave my passport in maiden name or can i change to married already? I have a trip to canada this july, can i present my trv in maiden name and passport in married name? Carry an NSO marriage certificate just in case. My friend kept her maiden name in her passports (dual citizen), and she has to carry her marriage certificate with her when she uses it while traveling out of the Philippines with her husband.

I don't think CBSA will care, but the IOs in the Philippines may.

CBSA doesn't care, it is quite common.
