Hi Guys,

I have my test/Interview on March 19, 2014. I was going through my passports and noticed that it is missing one of the entry in Canada when I came back from vacation three years back.

Any advice? Is this common?

Thanks,

Regardless did you atleast include the trip on your application. As long as you did then it should be fine. It will also show on the CBSA report that CIC acquires. I had trips with no re-entry stamps into Canada but I mentioned EVERY trip on my application

relax, the cbsa has much more information than the passport stamps. infact in my case they didn't even check the canada stamps. make sure your other country stamps are in order though (if you have mentioned them in the residence calculator)

One possibility is you may have used the kiosk (eg : @ YVR air port).
i don't have any stamps since i became a PR. the officer always checked my PR card and customs declaration sheet. only a glance at the passport.

Big Relief!

Thank you guys!
I have declared all the trips in my application. I do have entry stamps of the countries which I visited. I have declared every visit. Do they acquire CBSA report for everyone who come for test/interview.

oh yes the officer is fully prepared. they even have police records, etc. in my case, the officer didn't even check my stamps, she simply asked why do i visit US so much? it's good to show ties in canada during the meeting, like spouse is or applied for PR, bought a house, etc.

Yes, so when you use the kiosk I guess you may not get a stamp in your passport. However the kiosk will input that arrival date to the system. So I believe there should be an entry in the report. That's just my opinion.

that's correct. i know some people panic at the immigration and try to join the visitor line to get a stamp. completely unnecessary.
