Passport lost in the mail

Hi there,

My application for PR is approved and I was asked to send my passport to Buffalo to get my VISA by April 1st.

Th problem is before knowing that I sent my documents along the passport to Buffalo to get a re-entry visa. To tell the story short, my passport were return by regular mail to a wrong address.

I can apply for a new pass or wait another month but I will definitely pass the 1st of April deadline.

Anyone knows what will happen if I send my pass for PR visa after the specified deadline?

1. Track your passport. Which address did it land to? who is there? try going there. Beg them to give you, incase.
2. Notify cic that you lost your ppt and applying for new one and apply...and wait...and make sure cic is ok, better call them and ask!

You can get extension to submit the PP if you have valid reason. Write to CIC explianing your situation and ask for addition time to submit your passport
