Passport got renewed

Hi,

Applied for CEC four months ago with old passport number.
Now passport got renewed and new passport number.
I know that I need to inform CIC about new passport.
Any impact because of renewal?

No impact at all, i got mine renewed a few days before make decision about my case.
You make sure a copy of your passport info page(s) e-mail to CIC. Your e-mail header should contains App#, name, and address.
