Passport for Dependents

I am applying for passport for my 1 year old son and I am sure it'll take two to three months for it to be delivered. Is it okay if I send the application form without the passport details for the dependents? Just want to rush in before the cap exceeds...Please Advise. Thanks.

You can enclose a copy of child's passport application form and make a note in the covering letter that the passport has been applied. Don't wait till it received.
