Passport expiring in 6 months and 8 days on the date of my travel to Canada.I have COPR

Hi,

I have recieved confirmation of Permanent Residency and my visa is stamped and valid till Nov.My passport is going to expire next year on 4th Jan,2019 .And I am making my first landing on 26th June,2018 in Canada.

My question is shall I renew my passport prior to landing in Canada.As on 26th June,2018 my passport will have 6 months and 8 days of validity.Will by passport expiration create any problem in immigration?

Hi

You don't need to renew your passport. There is no required minimum validity when you land.
