My passport is expiring on 15 March 2015.
My COPR is expiring on 30 April 2015.
I want to land in Canada in second half of April 2015 so I can avoid harsh weather.
What should I do?

Dear Ali,

I am not senior here, but still I believe you should get in touch with your corresponding VO.

Dear Seniors,

Could you please advise here.

there are only 2 options.

1. do the landing b4 passport is expiring.

2. inform VO about it that you are going to make new passport because the visa was issued on current passport and as soon as passport expires/cancelled the visa becomes null and invalid and you cannot do the landings on this visa, you will have to obtain a new visa on new passport.

my opinion......do the landings asap, don't waste your time and money. one day you will have to face the weather there, so why delaying? and if weather was of so much concern to you then why you did PR for Canada? :D
