passport expire related

Hi,
applied under FSW category in June,2013..got AOR and waiting for MR.. my passport is going to expire in July,2014.. what is the best option?

1. should I wait for MR and after getting MR, finish MR (medical) procedure with old passport and then apply for new passport and send medical docs with new & old passport to NDVO?

2. start the process for new passport right now without waiting for MR.. but in that case, when MR comes, in that passport no is mentioned..so if i intimate to NDVO that i am having new passport.. do the MR papers with old passport no is ok to do medical or do NDVO is going to send new MR docs?

Please advice..

You still got 7 more months to renew PP man..... No worries......

1.wait for Medicals..... Complete Medicals on old PP
2 then go for new one....... By the way....expired PP will be interlinked to Newly issued one online...

i did not seen passport number mentioned on medical forms as i had completed medical just before month
so you can renew your passport, there is no problem
generally ndvo request medical, rprf and passport all together, so be prepared for it
