Passport dispatch after CoPR for husband and wife

Experts,
I have a situation.
I have submitted my passport for CoPR, but since my wife is travelling I got the deadline to submit her passport extended by one month.
I spoke to one of the CIC agents and she told me that my passport is under processing and they are printing visas. What she also told that unless CIC receives my spouse' passport they wont dispatch my passport, even if CoPR has been printed and visa is stamped.

My question is - Is it true that CIC dispatches both the passports simultaneously? If that happens , I have a long wait for my passport then.
Anybody come across a similar situation.
Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

We only know as much as you here.

I would agree that CIC will only submit both passports together with the visas. Get your wife to submit hers asap or you'll just have to wait for hers.
