Passport Details typo

I have submitted TRV in New Delhi office for my parents ( through agent). Today I was looking to the IMM5257 form for my father (just casually) and found that the expiry date is wrong - instead of 14 - it was typed as 24.
This was submitted recently on 30th May 2018 and I don't think they have started the processing of the application.

What is the solution - shall i send letter, new corrected form and passport copy directly to the embassy or ignore this Or anything can be sent online in this case ?

Appreciate your advise on above silly but big mistake on main document

Your agent must send a copy of the passport + amended application form to the relevant visa office through the IRCC web form and email

Thanks a lot for suggestion i will ask him, I know the method through web form,
what about email - is it the immigration email id for New Delhi office ?

If your parents signed the 'Use of representative' form appointing the agent then IRCC will communicate only with your agent.

Yes, it is the New Delhi visa office in their case

Don't worry. I made a similar mistake, ended up making mistake in the passport number. I was worried and sent email to Bangalore visa office ( mine was forwarded to bangalore ) also sent amended form using webform.
But it appears they also look at the supporting documents such as copy of passport and original passport and considers that info. I was able to verify this because later I was able to link my application using the correct passport number and not the passport number I had written in the form mistakenly.

How did you linked the application. I am trying but not able to . I am using exactly same entry and exit date as written in application form and other information. May be it is yet to be processed ?

Any lead please ?

I tried using the same info they ask ( passport no, name, stay dates etc etc. ) I tried after a week of submission and it worked. Your probably hasn't processed yet, wait for few days and try.
