Hey everyone,
So my son unfortunately got hold of my passport yesterday and tore two pages. He is 2 year old so yes apart from blaming myself for keeping the passport on the dresser not much could have been done.
Now I got ITA in the last draw and my IELTS exam and EE had details of that passport. Today I went to the consulate to get a new passport but I had a question that will there be a problem if I change my passport number in the eAPR? I can attach the copies of the pages left along with LOE. and lastly my new passport will have to be attached in the passport section of documents right? but that doesn't has my travel history so what will happen next?
Please help me in this regard

Good thing you get to arrange for a new passport.
You still have 90 days to submit for PR application.

Are the two pages include your passport details (with pics and information?). If it is, I would suggest to keep it for future use as well as the digital copy of it.
I will also recommend that you still keep your old passport, just in case IRCC ask for it.

On the ITA application itself, there is a section for you to upload any letter of explanation. I would include this incident/information on that letter so everything is clear.

On the ITA , you just include the copy of your old passport together with your new passport. (I did it, even if my old passport is expired because I have a canada tourist vis on it. )

Good luck!

When you submit your new passport in the ITA, you can also include the copy of the old passport together with it. (as one pdf file). You can include in LOE about the incident in case CIC notice missing pages on your passport. Anyway , I remember on the ITA that you only need to upload the pages of the passport with stamps. (compared to the OINP that you need to upload every page of the passport). Cheers!
