Passport copy while applying for Student Permit

Hi,

I recently got my passport renewed. I'm getting a new student permit, going from worker status. Do I need to send them a copy of my old passport as well? Or is it sufficient to sent my new passport with no stamps of entry and what not?

You will be best served if you send both copies. The old one provides legitimate time stamps of when you entered Canada at the POE in addition to your personal details. The new one provides updated personal details.

So, yes provide both to also avoid further delay on your SP.
