Partner's proof of employment if not claiming points

Hello,

In our EE application, we provided our (me and my partner) history of employment. However, we did not claim any points for her employment. After receiving ITA, and filling in all the information, some of the documents, that are required, are about proof of employment periods of my partner. Since we did not claim any points for her employment/education, do we still have to provide proof of employment?

The reason I am asking, she worked in multiple countries for several employers, and it is really very hard to get the letters. We have tax return documents. Would that be sufficient?

Since you are not claiming any points for the work ex of your partner, it is safe to move those entries from Work History section to Personal History section. In this way, you will not need to provide any proof and the document upload section for partner's work experience will be gone.

Points are applicable for spouse only if spouse has Canadian work experience
