Partner- CUAET in Canada, Partner- Non Ukranian

Hoping that you might give us ideas what to do.
My partner is Ukranian- Israeli and now he is in Quebec Canada already. His Cuaet visa got approved last January 2024. The situation is, me his partner (not married, common law partner) and we lived together in Israel for few years with our Son, and because of the War, we decided to go back here in the Philippines last November 2023 while my partner left Israel a week after we flew to Philippinrs. Can we also apply CUAEt visa since we are family member of the ukranian national?? Thank you so much

It's too late to apply for a CUAET visa. The program has closed. You and your son can try applying for a visitor visa through the normal process. If your husband is working in a skilled occupation in Canada, then you should also be able to apply for an open work permit.

Read through the link. You need to be in Canada to apply. So you need approved TRVs.

Are you and your partner fluent in French? That may also open up opportunities to move to Quebec.
