Part 1 Sponsor approval approved but website still shows in progress?

Hello,
Spousal application received July 13th, received a letter approving myself as sponsor on Sept 15th (also says the application for PR has been forwarded to London visa office for further processing), but the website still shows sponsorship application status as 'in progress' and PR application status as 'in progress'. Why hasn't the sponsorship application status changed to approved?

I haven't received any other correspondence. Looking through the forum, it looks like you can request notes on your file but I can't seem to find the link to do that. Does anyone have the link.

Hi Oleander.

Do not worry too much, ECAS is known for being unreliable. The important fact is that you have your sponsor approval letter. When you check ECAS what does it say under the permanent residence application status?

I help maintain a spreadsheet where we track applications going through London, UK. The link is in my signature. It is useful for averages, timelines, other stats. Would you like to be added? If so please provide the following info:

-Date application received in Mississauga
-Whether you applied as Married or Common-Law
-Date of sponsor approval
-Which office is processing Phase 2 of your application (will say on your sponsor approval letter/email)
-Date(s) of any other requests you've had
-Whether or not the principal applicant is non-visa exempt
-Current location of the principal applicant- closest major city is fine if you don't want to be too specific!

And here is the link to order your notes. Note the applicant has to complete IMM 5744 in order to give the sponsor the consent to request the notes.

I assume ECAS is the online website.
The sponsorship application status online says 'in progress' and
We received your application to sponsor x on July 13, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 11, 2015.
We started processing your application on August 10, 2015.
The PE application status online says 'in progress' and
We received x's application for permanent residence on July 13, 2015.
We started processing x's application on September 22, 2015.
Note I x'd out my husbands name.

Don't worry, I received my SA a month ago, and my Ecas still say In progress. I think they don't keep it to date.
