Thank you friends for all your help.My parents applied for amultiple entry visitors visa fromVAC New Delhi and they got it within four days.Must say that it's quite fats and simple.

I have myself applied for a Visitor Visa to visit my wife in Canada for Christmas, Have sent a strong and perfect file with a good cover letter.

Dropped it at VFS yesterday, and today got status that its being under process.. Hope I get the visa,

A small query regarding the status, did you receive any mail or status on tracking? like passport dispatched or Visa approved. Please let me know, once again congratulation to your parents and happy holiday.

Thank you so much,they do give you a tracking No when you apply for the visa.They will send you an email or text stating that u can collect your passport,they wont tell you wether you got the visa or not.You can only come to know after you open the package.

Can u pls tel me wot were the details u had given. Especially when de ask for family ties back in the country?? Even am planning to apply for my parents through CHC new delhi. Ny advise from ur experience would be really helpful.
