when we apply how we gonna prove that he works as we dont have salary slips for him? does it really matter to show the source of income?

Hi Priya,

Does your dad have an employment letter that states his income + it will be paid as cash?

Does he file Income Tax Returns?

Does he deposit the cash salary in his bank account regularly?

Does he have credit cards - as credit limits will be primarily linked to his income?

Apart from the salary paid as cash, his overall financial situation will be evaluated..... it would be difficult to convince the visa officer that salary paid as cash has been genuinely earned by an applicant unless it can be supported by the above documents

As for proving that he is employed, he could request the employer to issue a letter stating his employment, salary paid as cash, etc.... and support this letter with ITRs, bank statements, etc

Cheers
