Hi All, we applied for my parents visa on the new IRCC Portal on Dec 2021 - they are in India. We stated we need them here for pregnancy and postpartum support. Biometrics were take within a week but there have been no updates since then. I am approaching my due date and wondering if there is anything we can do expedite! Any suggestions will be helpful. At the moment we are just waiting and hoping the visa comes in time. So frustrating since a lot of other people I know who applied after them received their visa within weeks!

i applied in november, stating the same…i delivered my baby two weeks ago, there has been no update in the application so far, we even tried sending webform

yes, recovering faster than i expected… but parents being with us for a mental support is the biggest thing
physical pain n stuff goes away in a week with medication, this loneliness is something different
