Parents sponsorship

I was sponsored through spouse, now I am resident(PR) from 1 year -2015.
Would it be possible to sponsor my parents to come to Canada? Suggest.
My income is more than required ie 39K ? Do I have to PR for 3 years to be eligible? or could I file sponsorship?

Pls advice.

Your spouse must be a co-signer, and his plus your income must equal LICO for your family size, the past 3 years (if outside Quebec). So to apply in 2017 your spouse will need Canadian income for 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Note also that family size = You + spouse + 2 parents = 4 people. More if you have children. Last years LICO for family size 4, was $57K.
