Hello everyone,
My parents sponsorship file is moving forward(Thanks God!) but they have received a letter stating that my dad and mom need to submit another Schedule A Background Declaration (IMM 5669) form. My father is currently 71 years old and they have asked for information since 1961 which comes to about 5 decades (50 years ).
Problem is my father, as with any other normal person, cannot recall some of the addresses from 20-30 years prior and the records that would have helped have been shredded long ago.
My question is:
1. has anyone gone through this pain before and how did they approach it?
2. should my dad writer a letter after completing the form to the best of his abilities that some of the addresses and personal history may not be 100% accurate or is that too risky and shooting oneself in the foot?
I would really appreciate some help on this because I just don't know how to help my dad.
Thanks,
Mr O
