Parents Sponsorship- Help please

Hi everyone,

I have a situation here and any help/advise will be appreciated. I am a Canadian citizen and have filled a sponsorship application for my parents (my brother is also under their case as dependent child). I have met all the requirement and rules. Now, here is my main concern, I am about to get married to my current girlfriend and she is an international student in here. I want to know if that will harm my parents' case or not? I mean do I have to add my wife after marriage when it comes to financial calculation for my parents' application?

Yes you would have to add your wife to the financial calcutation if you get married first. I think you would need to add her after even if you get married after your sponsor because your family make-up will have changed.

Thank you for your help. I have also called CIC and they confirmed what you said. My family size will change if she comes in.
