Parents sponsorship applicantions filed in 2011

I am starting this new forum to track individuals who filed applications to sponsor parents in 2011.
Please share your experiences here so that we all who are on the same boat will have an idea of whats going on.

I personally filed application on March 2011 to sponsor my mother as Principle Applicant while my dad as dependent.

(Has 2 columns - Both have my Canadian address on the top):

1st column:
Heading: Sponsorship application.

Status:
Recieved your application to sponsor ******** on March 01, 2011.

2nd Column:
Heading: Permanent residence application.

Status:
We received ******* application on for permanent residence on March 01, 2011.

I am on medical and PCC now.

Next PPR.

They are moving fast.

I applied on april 2011 and just send the additional documents requested in july 2014.

after that haven't received anything.

Not to worry ... I am quite optimistic about the recent trending over the existing backlog and the pace at they all are moving ... We are almost there ...

When did CIC request document from you. Those who applied after May 28 2010 received letter dated 30 July 2014 and nobody seems to have heard anything yet and are waiting for AOR for documents. You are very lucky if medical request has already been sent for a 2011 application that is super fast.

You say you have medical request. Would you please give details of when you sent your documents and when and where your file has been transferred to. How was your medical request sent to your parents, email or regular post.

Hello Everyone,

I applied in may 2011. My application reached CIC on May 18,2011.Since then haven't heard back from CIC. Hopefully they will soon start working on May 2011 applications.

Same here, I applied in July 2010, received req of additional docs. in July 31st. Still waiting for AOR or file transfer from CIC Missi.

NOT me . but one of mu fried who sent all documents on aug 10 and recieved even medical request last week. he got file transfer on dec 3 104 and got medical request on dec 9
