Parents sponsorship acknowledgment?

My spouse (Canadian resident) sent in an application for sponsorship of her parents in August 2009 to Mississauga. She has not received a confirmation of receipt as of yet. She tried calling them up (18882422100) but was unable to get through. Not sure if she has the right number. In any case, its been over 6 months and we're getting quite worried and we hope the application has not been misplaced.
She also sent in an application in Jan 2010 for sponsoring me as a spouse and that application was acknowledged and is now being processed in NYC (transferred from Buffalo).

Is there another number we can call to check for receipt of the previous application?

Hi ngunja, Spouse sponsoring is given priority than Parents sponsorship processing. The call center phone number is correct. Tell your wife to try early in the morning repeatedly.

try calling them before noon on Friday. I had no problem reaching an agent at that time.
