Hi. I'm hoping you guys can guide me in the right direction. My parents were deported back in 2009. Their refugee status was rejected. Within 30 days of receiving their deportation letter, they left the country voluntarily. Paid for their own tickets and verified their departure with a Canadian officer at the airport. They have two children here, and 6 grandchildren. I applied for their super visa last year in September which got rejected saying the immigration here failed to see any ties for my parents to go back. They have a house back home which is under my mother's name. They are retired so they both don't work back home. My father's year of birth is 1948 and my mother is 1960. I don't know if age plays a factor. At this point, what's the best route to take to bring them back to Canada? Even if it is just for visit? Do I need to apply for an arc? Should I try visit visa? I would love to hear if somebody else was able to come back to Canada after deportation. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
