Parents are PR. Child is born outside Canada.

Hello all
My name is Adveen. I am 14 months old. My parents have PR cards since OCT2015. But since I was going g to be born my parents came back to India to give me birth as my mom would need support after delivery. Now in May 2017 my dad has left to Canada .He is working there. Before he left, he applied for TRV for me which was rejected. Then he applied for TRP for me which was rejected again. The reasons that the visa officer was not satisfied with is mentioned below,
1. Travel history
2.Family ties in Canada
3.length of proposed stay in Canada
4.purpose of visit.

My dad had given a copy of both my parents PR Job offer letter for dad and other documents as relevant. Still I was not granted visa . I would like to know what can I ask.my parents to do to take me there. I really miss my dad and want to reunite with him so that he can experience.my milestones. How and what to apply for. Mommy says dad has to sponsor me from.canada. but that will take good 6+ months to be granted. I want to go fast. Please help

Seems likely the only way then is for the father to enter a PR application if both TRV and TRP have failed. By all means I guess you can try applying for TRV or TRP again but in meantime rather than waste too much time for another rejection maybe get moving on the PR application. Unfortunately just because parents are PR does not give any dependants born outside of Canada any PR rights automatically.

PS.For a 14 month old if you need to take IELTs looks like you wll have no problems there !

Thank you for replying champion member. Could you also please tell me if my mom can apply for a visitor visa for me and my dad can sponsor PR for me when I reach Canada. So in that way I will win. .. errrr . . Daddy said this option is not possible. But mom was forcing me to ask.

Dad living in Canada needs to submit a PR app to sponsor you, He must stay residing in Canada for the duration of the application process (6-12 months), although can leave for temporary vacations.

Since TRV and TRP have already been denied, there is slim to none chance you'll be able to go to Canada until PR is approved. As mentioned though, you can always apply again all you would be risking is the application fees.

Your parents made a personal choice to return to India to have their child, while they could have stayed in Canada to have a Canadian citizen child and not had to go through this. Due to that choice, family separation to sponsor is one of the consequences. Probably nothing to do now except wait for PR.

TRV and TRP have already been denied once. You can certainly try to apply again with new or updated information to convince them otherwise, but it's entirely up to visa officer if they issue it or just reject again.

So my question is if I can apply for a visitor visa like my granny and meanwhile my dad can submit PR app. And if it helps, in my visitor visa my dad can mention about his intention of sponsoring me for PR.

TRV is a visitor visa. You have already been denied once for a visitor visa.

As already mentioned here, since first TRV was already rejected odds are a second TRV app will be rejected also. However you are free to submit a new app again if you like, trying to address the reasons for first refusal.

Only the visa office processing TRV app can tell you if it will work or not.
