My mum was issued parents/grandparents super visa in 2014. The first 2 yr term expires in August. My question is does she have to return to her home country and come back to be issued another 2 yr term or can she cross the border into the US and get another 2yr term. I will appreciate if someone has an answer to that. Thank you

My parents are with me in Canada on Super Visa. Their passport with their visa was valid till 2018 end and the visa its self is until 1 Jan 2018. I am applying for their visas. I am not clear if they will need to exit Canada to get their visas stamped on their passports?
