Hi I'm about to send an application for my father for TRV, he is 65 years old retired live in Egypt and his income now is his pension, his bank account have about 60.000 - 65.000 CAD.
He is married to my mother who lives with him and not coming with him, also my sister 26 years old single lives with him, other sister married and have 5 kids ( don't live with him but can be considered as home ties? )

Also he have a travel history to USA in the early 1990's and before that Turkey and Greece can we include that in his application he still have the stamps in his old passport but no no travel history after 1993.

please any advice here will be appreciated. if anything can be added to this application to improve ( of course will include plane tickets and invitation letters )

I'm a Canadian citizen living with my Canadian wife and 3 kids and thats the main reason for his visit is to see the kids.

Thank you

1. Travel in the last 10 years is usually considered. Nonetheless, he can mention his US travel.

2. The sister who is married won't count as family ties, but must be declared in the Family Information form

3. Your dad might also want to include any property ownership and valuation documents + financial investments + proofs for pension renewal + government proof that your mom and sister live at the same address as himself (his family ties), etc.

4. Do include a detailed day-by-day visit plan for max 3-4 weeks with expense estimates. He must prove he can pay for this visit plan + airfare

5. Also, it is a good idea to include an overseas travel medical insurance policy for the visit dates (not super visa insurance, not mandatory but could help)

6. Don't book plane tickets. It does not help. He can include flight itineraries
