After three years of waiting, I finally heard back from the IRCC regarding my parent's sponsorship application. First, they requested them to do the medical exams then they asked them to submit CSQ and police reports in 30 days.
IRCC never contacted us to invite us to apply for the Quebec sponsor undertaking application. They didn't tell us any information yet about the eligibility of the sponsor. MIFI has this on their website " After receiving confirmation from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that your undertaking application is eligible, you must submit an undertaking application to the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI). "
I am very confused and very concerned. We only have 30 days to submit the CSQ report, which we never applied to begin with. Is this a mistake on the IRCC's end? I called the IRCC before when I submitted my application asking about when to apply for the undertaking. The agent asked me to wait till I get the confirmation about sponsor eligibility THEN I can apply to the MIFI's undertaking.
