Parent Sponsorship for PR

Hello Everyone,

I have PR of Canada and landed in January 2018. My father passed away in July 2018 so I came back home.
My mother is a house wife and no one is here to take care of her as I have no siblings. I want to take her with me to Canada by which she can live with me permanently. Please suggest me possible ways and processing time.

You should try for vistor visa only. Don’t think you are eligible for super visa as they do have income requirements nether you are can apply for PR yet. For Pr you have to wait 3 years just to qualify so it’s better to get vistor visa and later on apply for super visa, which allows her to stay up to 2 years.

For permanent residence, you will need to sponsor her when you become eligible and you are invited to apply via the PGP lottery program. The only alternative is for her to apply for permanent residence via one of the economic streams, which is probably impossible given her circumstances.
Until then, any visits to Canada would be of a temporary nature only.

Unfortunately since you are a new PR you will have difficulty getting a supervisa for your mother and you don't qualify to sponsor her. You could try a TRV but given her lack of strong ties to her home country it will be difficult if she has no job or family. If she gets herTRV you can apply for H&C. You need to establish yourself in Canada and get employed. That will be important if you want to bring your mother to Canada.

A visitor visa. Getting a permit to visit Canada will depend on her finances and her ability to show strong ties to her home country to prove that she will return and not stay in Canada. It will also depend on her travel history to other countries like the UK, Australia, US, etc. It doesn't seem like she will have a strong application.
