PArent Sponsorship 2016 : Blunder with medical test deadline

hi Guys,

I have made big blunder,, I thought for medical also the deadline was 60 days like other documents deadline from New Delhi..

I realized only today that actually the deadline is 30 days for Medical and 60 days for other documents

today August 6 is the 30th day of the medical deadline already, I sent an urgent email to new delhi visa office informing of the confusion and the delay..
I will now complete medical exam on August 08 which is 2 days later than the deadline.

Guys , please advise will New Delhi Visa office accept this delay..
anything else I can do ?

You can not do anything but to finish your medical on 8th and keep your fingers crossed. Be careful with the dates next time. Send an email once your medical is done to CIC, letting them know of this delay. I do not think the 2 days delay should affect your application much.

Try fax them also. Why u get it so late. We get medical request at same time around 6/7 july
Mine parents medical results are passed as per linked application status. now they are checking our submitted dicuments. U should also not delay submission of documents.

I sent them an email, will also fax them today...

I really hope this 1-2 day delay will not cause refusal of application, I will be devastated

this is the first time I have made such an oversight.

don't worry about it.. they won't deny your application because you are 2 days late. You have sent them an email explaining and that's good enough..

now go and get some rest..

Please make sure the email or corespindrnce should go from your PA ie ur father or mother whosoever is principle applicant.

Oh i c. Then u should be fine. In my case delhi office address email letters for medical and documents request to my father(principal applicant)

I think CIC has now made emails the only way to send your document(s). Faxes may or may not be received by the person concerned while emails will always go that particular inbox (after checking that the email address is correct).

Dont worry now, once you are done with the medicals, email them that you are done with your medicals with other details such as date of medical, location of medical, place of medical, application number, UCID etc.

If you are still doubtful, order GCMS notes in a couple of months from today and check whether your results were accepted. Now, application status page on CIC's website is also showing a line for my parents' application "Medical results have been received", a status that started showing 1-1.5 weeks after their medical.

This is to inform that I received a response from medical office that they
Have noted my email that test will be completed on Aug 08

So looks that they will accept the 1-2 days delay

My mom finished her initial test . Was referred to a cardio and is finishing that test also today

So let's hope all goes well
