Parent PR Financial obligation

I am qualified to sponor my parents as per income tax returns. However, I do not meet the minimum necessary income for 2016 ie. this year. As per Instruction guide, there is an obligation i need to meet but does not get referred in the application. I am self-employed and my business will generate income only from next year.
Any pointers?

It's really a matter of luck.

It's possible CIC may not ask for updated returns while they are processing your application. If they don't, your application should be approved. If they check, your application will be refused for failing to meet the income requirements to sponsor.

Unfortunately none of us can predict if they will ask or they won't. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't.

i think there is one colum in the forums where u do declare your income for 2016......can't just write any figure....they r not asking for proof at this time but in case job change or new bussiness cic might ask later on.....
