Parent Applying for Visitor VISA - Language Requirement

Hi,

My father and mother are applying for visitor visa to visit us here in Canada. My father is fluent in English but my mother is not (reading/writing/speaking). Will that be a problem for her to get the visa ?

There are many requirements to be met to get a visit visa but ability to speak/read/write English is not one of them although of course even basic ability might make the visit more enjoyable.
