Papers validity time

Hello everyone!
I was wondering how long the documets are valid for but can't seem to find any information online. I read guides and information on CIC website but I am either blind or its not there :-[ Does anybody know how long the police certificates, Option C printout and proof of employment are good for from the date they are issued? Due to geography we can't obtain these at any time and keep getting new ones if the ones we get expire before we apply, so really need help here to be able to plan. We will be going through Moscow office if that makes any difference ;D

Thank you little_apple! That helps a lot Someone told me before the police certificates are only good for 1 month and that got me worried ;D

Most police reports are valid for 1 year. However CIC would only accept the report it was submitted within 3 month of issuance despite the report being good for 1 year.

I think this is to prevent people from submitting an old report though valid when they have an offence (conviction) made after report had been made.

I just went through this with my lebanon police clearance which i submitted 7 months after I received it and had a different experience.

The way it was explained to me is that the police clearance date cannot be issued 3 months from before the application was received by CIC. I had this confirmed with the CIC hotline, a supervisor on that hotline and most recently with my VO when i submitted the lebanon certificate.

So in my case even though I submitted my police clearance in August (7 months after the issuance), the date on the clearance was February which is when they received my application so the clearance is still valid. In fact when i called in March about this they specifically told me not to submit the clearance and wait until the VO requested it.

When I applied for my last work permit I had to submit a new one because CIC received the first one 4 months after it was issued. They wrote me it was older than 3 months when they received it so it didn't meet the CIC requirements
