Paper or online for 2022?

Hello everyone,

I'm about to apply in a couple of months. I have the option to apply either paper or online but some people told me that paper base applications are way faster than online.
Is this true? How is that possible?
Do you advice future applicants to apply online or on paper?

Apply online, save on postage etc and your application gets submitted same day.
They will all get processed…..

Incorrect info, read the post before mine and check the spreadsheet data. online is on hold without any movement. paper is the only thing getting processed at the moment. not to say that won’t change but, like everything else no one know when.

If you don't care how long it takes, do it online for the simplicity. If you'd prefer to be over and done with as early as possible, do it by paper. There are users on here who are considered withdrawing their online application just so they can resubmit by paper. As others have mentioned paper applications are clearly processes faster and no one knows why.

If I could redo the process I'd do paper.
