I have applied visitor visa for all my family members including me from inside Canada. I sent paper application for all of us including original passports on 20th September and according to Canada Post tracking details CIC received application package on 25th September. However from then I didn't hear anything from CIC. I mean I didn't receive any acknowledgement email whether they received my applications or not. I don't know if it is normal or something wrong.
Currently I am staying Canada as a worker with the validity till June 2019. My wife also has open work permit with the same validity. But both the kids have visitor record updated till June 2019.
Expert pls advice whether it is normal or there is something wrong. I am bit worried because I sent all the original passports together with the application package.
