Hello, we sent off the application April 2. Today we looked at the London processing times and it says 29 months!! Is this the actual time it will take? We had planned for 12 months at the most...anyone have any info on what's going on here? Could this mean another medical needs to be done as well ??

I get that you had a bad experience and are bitter about it but you should really stop just coming onto threads and posting stuff like this. It does absolutely nothing to help people and only serves to scare or worry them.

couldn't disagree with you more. I had many discussions about this issue and most people felt it IS very important for people to see and hear the truth. We are all adults.

Speak for yourself. I have replied and helped many people through private messages as others helped me

Have to agree to disagree...mistakes happen, and people need to be prepared for delays and denials, it happens. The person you were replying to wasnt being bitter, or trying to scare them but inform them, and maybe they will look into things more...

Thats just my interpretation...we still love you :)

Point out where I said you haven't helped anyone; you can't because I didn't say that.

If you want to actually explain your full situation, why you were denied, how you addressed it etc, then go right ahead; that is helpful. But coming onto threads and dishing out the one liner "Hey, you could be denied too" is not helpful. You may as well just come on and say "Hey, you could get hit by a car tomorrow" for all the good it does.

I agree with canuck_in_uk.

gsize,

I would like to know more about your story. Did you create a main post and tell your story somewhere? If you did, maybe you can add a link to it in your signature so that others can find it more easily. I tried going through your post history, but honestly, it seems like 50% is encouragement for other spousal appeals (cool! wonderful!) and the others are just the same sort of Doom-and-Gloom negativity that, without much context, isn't very helpful.

Nightmare cases due to mistakes or bad judgment from CIC can happen to anyone. It sucks that it took you 5 years. But... context? Link? More information?

Thanks!

Many London applicants who applied in January 2015 are having their applications kept to be processed in Mississauga. They are being completed in a few weeks to 1 month!

realismsleeve,

Are these people not on the 2015 spreadsheet?

As for gsize's case, the stated times are for 80% of the cases. Unfortunately, they fell in the other 20%, but a five year process ending in success is much better than outright failure, which is also a possibility. However, both of these are in the minority and not typical of the process.

I am a Jan 2015 applicant and therefore read every post in the thread I am not a London applicant so not informed about the office like all of you. However the users TdotFluffPot and mtempest are both London applicants who have had their applications held in Mississauga to be processed there. We theorise this is due to the backlog in London, some Australian applicants are also being processed within Canada. These applicants are being processed very fast, I am sorry I do not remember the name or have the link but someone was done in a few weeks to a month I am certain that some London and Sydney applicants are having their stage 2 processed in Mississauga, I hope this helps.

One case can easily be a statistical outlier. You and Tdot are on the spreadsheet and will be at three weeks on Tuesday. mtempest is not on the spreadsheet, but is his 3 weeks is Monday. Was andrew-brit your example case, possibly?

I'm sure you'll be done faster in Mississauga, but a few weeks to a month seems overly optimistic. I would personally prefer to expect 6 months and be surprised, rather than expect a month and be anxious.

Absolutely, those ppl have been referred to as the lucky ones. I just know that some London ppl being processed in Mississauga. I am not informed but wanted to share this info as it may help you and may be worth researching. I don't know the guy who was done in a month bcos read so many posts but I do remember reading his timeline, it appears like Mississauga doing stage 2 relatively fast.

I am an Israel applicant, dont want to give any wrong or misleading info so I hope this helps in some way but I am not informed about the London office. Good luck
