i m from pakistan,,,,could tell me,,that how long it took u get an acceptance letter? and also mention the time ,u applied for visa..
secondly i have paasport but its gona expire nxt year april,,still could i apply for visa

abt letter it varies from uni to uni...i wass accepted by uni of alberta and they send me through fedex so got within 3 days after posting frm the uni...n they took almost 2 and a half months to finalize my admission
i applied on 9th of july to embessy

abt expiration of ur passport really dont knw abt that matter

passport must be valid for the total no. of designated months candidates/students must be alloted Visa.
so if your desired course finishes before April 2011, you can go ahead and place application with this passport.

or otherwise you need to spend an extra 2150 Rs to replicate new one.
Hey they provide you in two weeks time period.

go ahead and get a new one before applying

they wil renew your passport and return you old passport to you
