I am looking for a city with job opportunities and affordable living expenses.
Mr faisal. thank you for your kind reply. My educational background hold an Oxford Busienss Degree From London and MBA from Malaysia. And have 2 years of Working experience of Marketing Executive. Currently I am looking for more opportunities in proceeding with professional Certificate in marketing and Human resource. (and it depends on the current demanded field in Business in Canada) I am not sure whether My field is demanding in Canada or not. Can I get some advise on it. Thank you
It's true that Toronto, as a larger city, has more jobs in general. However, the competition for these jobs is also significantly greater. Alberta's economy these days is, and has been for quite some time, stronger than other provinces in Canada and as a result, it is far easier to get a job there than in Ontario. In addition, from what I have seen, as a result of the relative scarcity of talent, companies do pay more in Alberta as well.
Most immigrants move directly to Toronto because as a cosmopolitan city, it offers more diversity (including specific ethnic areas where they can feel comfortable). However, this is, in my opinion, naive as they must first think about where they are more likely to find a job.
