Yaar.. what to say. aadmi ko dukh hoga to woh ofcourse dukhi hogaa.. log kehtey rahengay k dont worry, everything will be alright but i know these words dont matter in this situation.

I wont say this to you, but I must say one thing.. now when i compare this time (since i am in Canada, applying for various things, searching for a good job, settling myself in much smaller residence compare in Pakistan etc) to that tough WAITING period, believe me it was nothing. Whatever time you are passing with your close relatives is very precious.

Also, utilize this time by preparing yourself for here. Make your mind what you wanna do when you land here, either further studies OR job search. If you want to search job 1st, learn the Canadian job market, their demands. Make CVs which will capture employers attention quickly. (I made 6 OR 7 Resume for different companies)

Further Studies are your target then check with SAIT OR Columbia college about their courses. As I am here in Calgary, will be applying in University of Calgary for Masters inshahAllah.

Also, Prepare yourself for Knowledge test online (1st stage driving test for Drivers class 7).

I really miss that time, when i was waiting for the visa in Pakistan and didnt do much.

Ask whatever you want to, I will try to help you in every way brother. Dont lose hope.

i ve kidz under 10yrs of age .should we travel in end of dec or start of march i am so confused as every thing has pros and cons . plz do ???share .

If you ask my personal opinion, I think March would be fine (as spring will start in April). What is your destination?

Different CV for different job is a very good idea. I think we should look at job description in each job advertisement, and tailor our CV accordingly. Thanks for this useful tip.

Folks, Another incident happened today with PIA and luckily all passengers got saved. The engine of the plane caught fire soon after Plane take off. Plane was landed back safely at Karachi airport. The flight was going from Karachi to London. These kind of incidents happened every now and then with PIA domestic & international flights. "Bakamal Log Lajawab Service".

we are planning for mississauga.as i liked it better than toronto .toronto is too crowded as old cities are . well march is better in terms of weather u are right.i m really trying to makeup my mind for travelling month whatever we ll decide in few days i am so confused as we have been waiting for so long and now we are thinking abt dec or march . do u know when they have holidays for christmas .the main thing to get some nice place to stay and buying car ???apartment or town house still thinking as in appartment mostly share the laundry and they have pets . i am thinking abt so many silly things that serious ppl of the forum might think i am crazy :-[

Today we have attended Pre-Departure Canadian orientation Abroad session by Lubna khan,she is a well trained and experienced lady,she provided us very useful information About Canada.i suggest u all who got PPRS,plz write email and ask to send invitation for Orientation.its 7hrs session,in the end she provide us materials and forms that will be useful when we entered in Canada and certificate from IOM.i met our 3 forum members Azhermehmoodz ,RMALI AND MR_FAP we had a great time there .next session will be in Lahore i think dont forget to reach on time,good luck

i think its on 2nd Dec in Lahore.its TOTALLY FREE,u no need to pay any fees.even the BREAKFAST,LUNCH(buffet) AND EVENING TEA with refreshment all were FREE by Canadain Goverment (cic) .I really Enjoyed,it looks as we were in Canada.
