Hello,
Eventually I plan to get the smart NIC and NICOP, which is in both Urdu and English.
Until then, I am going to get a translation of my CNIC to English (it's a requirement also for a couple of other unrelated things I'm doing). Would like it if someone who has done this can help answer the following:
1. Can the translation be done outside the city courts in Karachi (or someplace else in Karachi)?
2. is the translation itself done on plain paper?
3. Other than the translator, who needs to sign or attest the translation? Is this person also at the city courts?
4. Is the accompanying affidavit from the translator on plain paper or on stamp paper?
5. Does the affidavit get attested too? Who does that?
Thanks :'(
